Iterations I-II-III (2023) by Susan Daboll is a large-scale installation constituted by an assemblage of images that were taken within the factory. In an attempt to generate visual order out of a mass of information that intensely exists throughout all buildings, the artist detects those unique details that construct a mythopoetic narrative in contrast to the hefty and weighty machine environment that besieges us. The ethereal and kaleidoscopic imagery of Daboll takes over a large surface of the windows of the glazed thread facility and, through meticulous processing she creates an enhanced luminosity and radiance developing an almost melodious synch with the adjacent very old glazing machines. Intertwining industrial chaos with visual harmony, Iterations is a masterful repetition of nonverbal powerful signals.
